    Digital MUX / VFT System

    Low Speed Messaging Communication Backbone

AEM’s Digital Multiplexer VFT system offers a versatile multiplexing platform for providing flexible solutions for all types of data communication needs. It allows a number of data and Tele - Printer lines to be multiplexed on to a composite channel which may be a 64 Kbps data channel or a voice grade channel. It allows Intelligent Message Terminals, Tele - Printer machines or data terminals to be connected to remote compatible terminal equipment. It allows flexible terminal configurations and provides for easy and economical network expansion.

    Satcom Interface

AEM’s Satcom Tropo Interface (STI) unit allows SATCOM Channels / Radio Channels to be interfaced to Tropo circuits. It interfaces an ON HOOK / OFF HOOK signalling with 2 wire Ring Down Tropo circuit. 43 such systems are working satisfactorily in Air Defence Centres.

Store & Forward Message Switching System (SFMSS)

Message Switching Systems Used in Army / Air Force Networks

AEM's SFMSS is the backbone of Indian Telegraphy Network with country wide installations. It provides an automated mechanism to receive, store, analyze and route prioritized messages to intended destinations. The system's objective is to minimize in-transit delays and inter - work with various modes of communication, viz. Tele - Printer lines (TP), Data channels through modems, normal RS232C lines, X.25 lines, Dialup lines & Telex lines on any telecommunication network. The system provides facilities for routing, congestion control, prioritized queuing, supervisory tasks and encoding of messages The system provides high reliability and the architecture provides for fail - safe functioning with built in redundancy and low Mean Time To Repair.

    Voice MUX

AEM's Voice MUX can handle inputs, from 1 to 7 voice channels and 1 data channel simultaneously. It can communicate on a composite link of 16 to 64 Kbps synchronous leased line depending on configuration. Data channel supports asynchronous data with up - to 19.2 kbps data rate. Users can use up - to 4 voice channels depending upon the speed of composite link and compression of the voice selected. The same system can also be used to send and receive Fax on normal Fax Machines on any one of the lines.

    Remote RADAR Data Display

    Extending RADAR Coverage

    • Providing special forms for creating, editing various types of error-free messages.

    • Providing data validation and error-checking while entries are being made

    • Transmitting messages on Tele-Printer lines at desired time for delivery into the FADHS system.

    • Receiving, logging, displaying and printing messages

    • Both these functions, Intelligent Messaging Terminal and RRDD, are required to be performed at the same time round the clock.
